When do the classes start and when do they end? – How long are the classes?
• Students may be enrolled at the beginning of any trimester/semester. Each class is one trimester/semester long. Start dates and ending dates are dependent on if your specific school schedule is on trimester or semester schedules.
Can I get high school credit for taking one of these classes?
• We are recommending the equivalent of one hour a day for one trimester/semester worth of credit
• The class will count as an elective credit
Is there a cost to take the class?
• The classes is FREE to students in Jackson County.
Do I need to buy anything (textbook, programs, etc)?
• No, there are no costs for students, including: textbooks, programs, etc.
How will I be graded?
• All class content (assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, etc) will be online.
Where do I go to take the class?
• There will be ONE in-person class orientation before the class starts, and then the class will be taken 100% online.
• Office hours are offered on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
What requirements are needed to take one of these classes?
• Computer with online access (broadband recommended)
• FIVE to TEN hours per week to complete class work
