HTML is the code behind websites. Eventhough you can create websites from templates, you will eventually have to get into the code. Below is a sample HTML page for you to do.

- Open Notepad through Start / Programs / Accessories / Notepad
- In Notepad, type like it is below in the picture
- Save the file on your desktop as "yourname.html" -- make sure it ends with .html
- Minimize all screens
- Double-click your file to view it in an internet browser
